Preparing for your moving day is a must because you are ready to go. Make sure everything you want to

be packed up beforehand is prepared and have your inventory list ready. Make sure you are ready to go

in time for their arrival.


Understanding Moving Risks & Liability (Summary)

We take great care with your belongings; however, moving household goods involves inherent risks. Minor

cosmetic damage (such as scuffs, scratches, dents, or marks that do not affect function or structure)

may occur and is not covered. Our liability is limited by our Moving Services Contract. Significant

damage or loss caused by our negligence is covered; minor cosmetic damage is excluded.

Decide what items you want to pack yourself and label them ahead of time. This helps the movers place and organize your boxes correctly.


Downsize Before Packing Downsize before packing by donating or discarding items you no longer need. 

Moving is a great

opportunity to simplify 

and start fresh.

  

Hazardous Materials Notice

 For safety and legal compliance, we cannot transport hazardous, flammable, explosive, corrosive, or toxic materials. Prohibited items include, but are not limited to: gasoline, propane tanks, paint and paint thinners, aerosols, fireworks, firearms or ammunition, cleaning chemicals, pesticides, pool chemicals, batteries, and any perishable, radioactive, or biohazard materials. These items must be removed prior to our arrival. Including but not limited to litter, prescriptions, etc. 

During the Move

Presence Required: You or an authorized representative must be present at the start of the move and for the final walkthrough.

Damage Reporting: Any

damage must be reported

immediately and will be

documented.

  

Conditions & Exclusions

o  Items with pre-existing damage are moved at your risk.

o  Heavy or oversized items are moved only when safe

o  We are not liable for damage to televisions (TVs).

o  Press-board/particle-board furniture is excluded from claims due to fragility.

o  Pets or living creatures are not transported. 

o  High-value items without original packaging may be padded with moving blankets; this is not a guarantee of protection.

o  Declining wrapping or alternative protection waives the right to file a damage claim.

Picture Hanging Service

 Picture hanging can be scheduled within 10 days of your move if you have more than six pictures. For six or fewer pictures, hanging will be completed on moving day. This service is included at no additional cost when completed within two hours.


 Packing and Inventory 

 We are not liable for damage to items you pack yourself or to contents of open or improperly protected boxes. We do not accept responsibility for perishable, hazardous, or dangerous items included without our knowledge.

Original packaging is strongly recommended for delicate or high- value items (including, but not limited to, TVs over 55", oversized items, mechanical/electrical equipment, and fine art).

  This Cancellation & Refund Policy applies to all moving services scheduled with our company.


Same-Day Cancellation: Cancellations made on the scheduled service date are non-refundable. Customers may receive a credit toward future services or reschedule, subject to availability.


One (1) Week Notice: Cancellations made at least 7 days prior to the scheduled service date are eligible for a 30% refund of all amounts paid.

 Two (2) Week Notice: Cancellations made at least 14 days prior to the scheduled service date are eligible for a 50% refund of all amounts paid. 


Thirty (30) Days or More Notice: Cancellations made 30 days or more prior to the scheduled service date are eligible for a 90% refund of all amounts paid.


All cancellation notices must be submitted in writing or phone call and are effective as of the date received by the company. Refunds, if applicable, via check within 30 days of the notice.
